Major Park Development Begins Before Public Consultation Do!
The Government of Manitoba has given the green light to Tim Hortons to develop a children's camp in a hitherto undisturbed part of Nopiming provincial park. The project, which has begun even before the public could be consulted, has raised the ire of environmental groups like the Manitoba branch of the Western Canada Wilderness Committee.
