Hi Larry! Want another reason for everybody to stop making ethanol from corn? Ever heard about CAFOs feeding antibiotic laced feed and thus breeding superbugs that hospitals can't get rid of? Well now we know that the ethanol industry has to use antibiotics so that their ethanol brew doesn't turn bad. The waste of the ethanol industry, along with the bacteria that survived (thus antibiotic-resistant) and residual antibiotics, goes to feed cattle. Good read signed Tom Philpott: http://www.grist.org/article/2009-04-07-ethanols-antibiotics-problem/
