Whether we like it or not, not only is modern agriculture at Ground Zero for the impacts of our climate crisis, it is also a significant contributor to the causes. So we need a fresh approach. Fewer synthetic chemicals. More energy-efficient farm vehicles. More organic agriculture, which sequesters more carbon in the soil. Not platitudes. Not more of the same, tired old solutions that have gotten us to this point, in the first place! So get with it, McCauley! We need new approaches. Not more welfare to the same system as before.
