The final line in this story concludes, "There's no knockout punch for fusarium." Interesting. And probably true, as long as Monsanto keeps our farmers addicted to Roundup. A few years ago, a story I wrote, called "Field of Nightmares," was published in the Journal, Alternatives. In part, it said, "Extensive research by Agriculture Canada, published in 2009, showed that glyphosate (Roundup) was also the most significant agronomic factor in incidences of Fusarium head blight (FHB) and Common root rot (CRR) in wheat and barley crops." - See more at: http://www.planetinperil.ca/.../field-of-nightmares.html...
