British Columbia Sinks Into Morass of Aquifer Contamination

Three professional hydrologists have told the provincial government that it should immediately impose a full ban on spreading liquid manure above a contaminated aquifer that provides drinking water to several hundred householders in the Okanagan Valley. Story here.

Water…the life blood of all living things on this earth.
Are Manitoba's aquifers next….or is it too late and happened already?
Untold millions of gallons of hog slurry are being applied to land in this province from the hog factories.
I do not think Manitoba officials realize the risks of water contamination, and if they do, they are
keeping it very secretive. It is shameful how our waters are utilized with such indifference.
