Are you feeling helpless in the face of these threats to our planet? Here's where to start. Don't use plastic shopping bags any more. Teach your kids to do the same and explain why. Convince your local council to ban them. Burn less gasoline. How? Buy a smaller or more energy-efficient car. Elect politicians who believe in similar action. Do not elect climate-deniers. The modern ones often don't want to admit it. But you can be pretty sure that the ones who are adamantly opposed to a carbon tax do not really believe in the oil-climate connection.
